- I would disagree a bit - part of the reason the Amiga`s OS is so good is that
- it takes advantage of all the custom chips - delegating many of the functions.
- It isn`t affected as much by large processor loads - which is thankful for an
- `020 (& esp. `000).

- Cool hardware still makes one hell of a difference! Back in 1988 the Amiga
- could shift a decent (for then) GUI with little trouble - today it doesn`t
- require much more (unless you go for a 128 colour 640*512 Wb), where as
- Windows95 (which is supposedly an OS in it's own right) needs a Pentium and
- 16Mb to shift as fast (or faster)...
